The knowledge of chemistry is used in production of fertilizers, pesticides, weed killers and animal vaccination.

o   Letters, newspapers and magazines are written on papers made through chemical processes.

o   Telephones and computers (for internet) rely heavily on wires that are manufactured chemically.

o   Parts of different means of transport such as car engines are made through chemical processes.

 

·       In industries

ü  In home care and cosmetics industry, the products such as detergents, beauty products, soaps, shoe polish, toothpaste, disinfectants, and insecticides are produced through chemical process.

ü  In food and beverage industries, the products such as soft drinks, common salts, yeast, baking powder and canned food are produced through chemical process.

ü  In manufacturing industries products such as chemicals, varnishes, cements, and plastics are made through chemical process.

ü  In textile industries, clothes and dyes are made through chemical process
